Description

The Prize for Excellence in Open Source Software, aka ‘The European Open Source Prize’ is given to those in recognition of their  outstanding impact in open source software development, technical leadership, and sustained excellence over at least ten years.

Greg Kroah-Hartman is a Fellow at the Linux Foundation. He is currently responsible for the stable Linux kernel releases, the kernel CVE assignment team, and is currently a maintainer of the USB, TTY, driver core, staging, and other smaller driver subsystems subsystems in the kernel as well as being responsible for other portions of the kernel in the past.
